Disconnecting a Loyalty Card

The disassociation feature is only present in White Label app

When to disconnect a Loyalty card

There may be some scenario where a Loyalty card may need to be disconnect from an iOrder account, to allow a new card to be associated, for example.

  • An employee has a Loyalty Card under a staff program, when they leave, they need to disconnect the card from their iOrder account and associate a Guest Program card

  • A guest loses their Loyalty Card and requests for the card to be suspended. The balances from that card can be transferred to a new Loyalty Card, so the guest can disconnect their suspended Loyalty Card and associate their new Loyalty Card

How to disconnect a Loyalty card

Guest can disconnect a card themselves by selecting "Unlink Loyalty Card" from their account (name) in the rear menu of the app.

Required configuration

For the "Unlink Loyalty Card" option to display for guest, the “Can Disassociate Loyalty Card” checkbox must be selected in App Manager → Configure → App Theme → Loyalty Card → Can Disassociate Loyalty Card
